چکیده
Abstract We investigate the uniqueness of decomposition general tensors $T\in{\mathbb C}^{n_1+1}\otimes \cdots \otimes{\mathbb C}^{n_r+1}$ as a sum rank $1$. This is done extending theory developed in [ 28] to framework non-twd varieties. In this way, we are able prove non-generic identifiability infinitely many partially symmetric tensors.

Generic weak isolated horizons
Isolated horizons [1], much like Killing horizons [2], were introduced in order to deal with the more practical problems involving black holes. Both formulations are local, in contrast with the global nature of event horizons [3]. However, isolated horizons, unlike Killing horizons, do not require a Killing vector field in their neighbourhood. Thus, isolated horizons are characterized by a weak...

the Insane. It probably amounts to at least 8 per 1,000 of the total population of the country. It is also realized that defectives are a serious economic burden and, in many cases, a no less serious social menace; consequently, that their ascertainment, correct diagnosis, and proper administrative care, have become matters which the Nation can no longer afford to neglect. At the present day th...
متن کاملGeneric identifiability and second-order sufficiency in tame convex optimization
We consider linear optimization over a fixed compact convex feasible region that is semi-algebraic (or, more generally, “tame”). Generically, we prove that the optimal solution is unique and lies on a unique manifold, around which the feasible region is “partly smooth”, ensuring finite identification of the manifold by many optimization algorithms. Furthermore, second-order optimality condition...
متن کاملSemantic defectiveness and the liar
In this paper, we do two things. First, we provide some support for adopting a version of the meaningless strategy with respect to the liar paradox, and, second, we extend that strategy, by providing, albeit tentatively, a solution to that paradox—one that is semantic, rather than logical.
متن کاملWeak Hypotheses and Boosting for Generic Object Detection and Recognition
In this paper we describe the first stage of a new learning system for object detection and recognition. For our system we propose Boosting [5] as the underlying learning technique. This allows the use of very diverse sets of visual features in the learning process within a common framework: Boosting — together with a weak hypotheses finder — may choose very inhomogeneous features as most relev...
